Church and community centre in Castel di Lama project by studio_contini is among the 10 finalists of the eighth edition of the “Frate Sole” International Sacred Architecture Award
114 projects of churches/churches from 33 countries all over the world participated in this edition of the Prize: it is the numerically best result obtained so far for the International Prize of Sacred Architecture. Italy leads the group with 21 participating design studios, followed by Germany and Spain (14), Austria and Portugal (7) and then Hungary with 5 design studios.
The Jury of this first phase is composed of the following members of the FoundationFrate Sole’s Scientific Committee: don Valerio Pennasso, arch. Giorgio Della Longa, prof. arch. Esteban Fernandez Cobian, arch. Caterina Parrello, prof. Walter Zahner, arch. Luigi Leoni and has identified 10 finalist projects.
